The Bhotekoshi River rose again on Sunday, days after a devastating flash flood struck the region. Nepalese authorities urged search and rescue teams in affected districts to remain alert.
The river flows south from the Himalayan border region and carried huge volumes of water into central Nepal during Wednesday’s flash floods.
NDRRMA warned that water levels had risen somewhat and urged all concerned personnel to take necessary precautionary measures.
