Women rescued from building set ablaze in northern India

A shocking incident took place in northern India’s Delhi where a massive fire had set a building ablaze.
The incident took place in the East Kailash area of New Delhi on July 4.
Visuals showed thick black smoke pouring from a part of the building. A firefighter placed a ladder on the apartment balcony and climbed up to help women stuck inside. With the firefighter’s assistance, the women safely came down using the ladder.
According to Delhi Fire Services officials, the fire broke out in the early morning hours. Firefighters responded swiftly to a call about the blaze engulfing the third and fourth floors of a multi-storey building at 5:50 am. Eight fire tenders were immediately dispatched to the scene. Amidst the efforts to extinguish the flames, rescuers managed to save one woman trapped inside the building.
