Women brutally assaulted by brother in southern India
by ShravyaIn a recent incident in southern India’s Andhra Pradesh, a woman was brutally assaulted by her brother over a property dispute.
The incident took place in Penakacherla village in Garladinne mandal of Anantapur district on July 9.
Visuals showed a woman continuously being assaulted with an axe by her brother. She struggled to get up, crawled on the ground, and tried to escape each attack. Despite her pleas for mercy, her brother continued the horrendous crime.
According to reports, Mahabubi was assaulted by her brother, Jilani. Police stated that there has been an ongoing dispute over the house site in Penakacharla village, where she had been living for the past few months. Jilani had been threatening his sister, demanding she vacate the property.
