Woman’s brutal murder in parking lot by colleague shocks Nation

A woman was fatally attacked with a cleaver by her colleague in a parking lot over the money he had lent her. The bystanders’ inaction as the woman bled to death shocked the viewers.

This horrific incident happened in northern India’s Maharashtra, in Pune, on January 7.

Visuals showed a man holding a cleaver as a woman sat on the ground, bleeding. She is seen making a phone call, and the man takes her phone away as he pushes her to the ground. A lot of bystanders are seen at the parking lot, none of whom intervene during the attack. The bystanders attack the accused after he throws his cleaver to the ground and starts talking on the victim’s phone. A Few of them are seen checking on the victim.

According to the source, the victim worked at a multinational business process outsourcing company as an accountant. She allegedly borrowed money from her colleague, the accused, and declined to return it. This led to the attack. The accused was apprehended by the police, and an investigation is ongoing.
