A woman in central India’s Madhya Pradesh,was severely beaten by a group of men.

The incident occured on a road of Tanda area in the Dhar district on June 21.

Visuals showed a gruesome scene where a man brutally beat the woman with a stick while four others restrained her, leaving her defenseless. She experienced extreme pain and discomfort during the attack. The crowd watched silently, with some recording on their phones and others murmuring in shock, but no one intervened to stop the violence.

According to reports, the police have registered an FIR and arrested one suspect. The investigation is ongoing, and the victim is in need of medical attention due to her injuries.

Superintendent of Police Manoj Kumar Singh said that the video of the woman being beaten up had gone viral. When the video came to us, we started investigating it. It was found that this case is from Tanda area. A team was immediately formed and the search for the accused was started so that the woman gets justice. One accused has been arrested. The search for the other accused is on. Also, a case has been registered on the woman’s report.
