Woman seriously injured as tree branch falls during visit to temple in southern India

She collapsed unconscious on the ground, while the man walking with her narrowly escaped harm. Onlookers, visibly shaken by the incident, hurriedly moved away as the branch crashed down, creating a scene of panic and concern.
The incident occurred as the woman was walking towards the temple to offer prayers when a large branch suddenly came crashing down. A video captured the harrowing moment, showing the woman falling backwards due to the impact, while a man narrowly escaped in front of her. She was quickly rushed to the hospital, where she is currently undergoing treatment for her injuries. The shocking event, witnessed by devotees at the temple, has raised concerns about safety measures around the pilgrimage site, prompting authorities to investigate the cause of the accident.
