In a recent incident in western India’s Maharashtra, a woman was saved by a cop from an unfortunate mishap when she lost her balance and fell between a moving train and platform.
The incident took place at Nashik Road Railway station on July 10.
Visuals showed a woman attempting to disembark from a train, losing her balance, and falling between the moving train and the platform. A quick-acting police officer sprinted towards her, pulling her to safety. Both of them fell and rolled on the platform as the crowd quickly rushed to assist.
The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has launched Mission Jeevan Raksha to promote safety and vigilance among Indians at railway platforms. The initiative emphasizes the importance of being aware of your surroundings and taking necessary precautions to prevent accidents and incidents. Key safety tips include standing behind the yellow line, avoiding rushing or pushing, and being cautious while boarding and alighting trains. The CRPF aims to ensure safer travel experiences and reduce the risk of accidents at crowded stations. Stay alert, stay safe.
