Woman mauled by fox in central India, family member suffers multiple bite wounds too
In a chilling incident in central India’s Madhya Pradesh, a woman was attacked by a fox near her backyard, leaving her bloodied and injured.
The incident took place in Nayanagar village in the Kesli Tehsil of Sagar district on November 5.
Visuals showed the woman lying on a cot, her family visibly distressed as blood dripped from her hands, revealing the intensity of the attack. Another man, Uttam Yadav, who had rushed to help her, was also seen with multiple bite marks on his body, while villagers around him looked anxious and concerned.
According to reports, when the woman’s screams pierced the early morning silence, Uttam Yadav immediately rushed to her aid. However, the fox turned on him as well, leaving him with several bite marks. He shared that his sister-in-law was in the backyard when the fox attacked, causing serious injuries. After attacking both of them, the fox fled the scene, sparking fear across the village that it might strike again.
