Woman loses balance while trying to get down moving train in central India
A woman lost her balance and fell down as she was trying to deboard a moving train in central India’s Madhya Pradesh.
This incident took place at the Ujjain railway station on July 17.
CCTV footage captured the chilling accident where the lady slipped and fell off the train (19091 Bandra Gorakhpur Express) while trying to get down. Railway Protection Force (RPF) cops immediately rushed to her for help. The lady, identified as Teeja Devi, held on to the handle of the train’s gate and was dragged by the vehicle before the RPF cops were able to save her life and prevent her from going into the gap between the train and the platform. The RPF cops responsible for saving the woman’s life are constables Ashish Marwal, Chain Singh and Government Railway Police (GRP) staff Ishwar.
According to a report, the woman had boarded the train to use its bathroom. And she hurriedly tried to get down when it started moving as a result of which, this happened.
