Woman gives birth outside hospital gate due to doctor negligence in northern India

A pregnant woman experienced labor pain but was denied admission into the hospital in northern India’s Rajasthan.
The incident took place at a government Hospital in Jaipur on April 3.
Visuals showed outside the hospital, a pregnant woman was seen writhing in pain, clearly experiencing labor pains. Two women were by her side, offering support and comfort. Meanwhile, a man was recording a video of an ambulance, presumably attempting to capture the pregnant woman’s ordeal. However, someone intervened, seemingly preventing the ambulance from taking the woman away. The scene depicted a mix of urgency, concern, and interference, highlighting the woman’s distressing situation.
According to reports the woman subsequently gave birth to the child near the hospital’s gate
The Rajasthan government on Thursday, April 4, suspended three resident doctors of a government hospital in Jaipur over negligence. The action came after a pregnant woman was denied admission into the hospital and forced to deliver her child near the hospital’s gate.
On Wednesday, April 3, a pregnant woman experienced labor pain but was denied admission to the hospital. An official informed that the woman subsequently gave birth to the child near the gate of the hospital on the same day.
