A 35-year-old woman named Madhumathi from southern India’s Tamil Nadu, was injured bad when a charging buffalo snagged her dress with its horns and dragged her along the street.

The incident took place in Thiruvottriyur, Chennai on June 16.

Visuals showed Madhumathi being lifted off the ground by the animal and then dragged around like crazy.

According to reports, panic ensued as residents, including children, fled the scene. Neighbors eventually rescued her and transported her to a private hospital. Although she sustained multiple bruises, Madhumathi is reported to be in stable condition. Another individual also suffered a minor injury.
