Wild elephant blocks temple path in northern India, leaving devotees in panic

In a startling incident in northern India’s Uttarakhand, chaos erupted as a wild elephant appeared on the Mansa Devi pedestrian path, disrupting the devotees heading to the temple.
The incident took place in Haridwar district on October 11.
Visuals showed the elephant in a furious state, moving swiftly and creating panic among devotees who were halted on their bikes at the gate of the pathway. The encounter, which unfolded in the early morning hours, left devotees fearful as the elephant blocked their path and threatened their safety.
According to reports, due to the Ram Navami festivities, a large number of devotees had gathered at the temple at around 4:00 am. Devotees are now demanding urgent measures to prevent such encounters with wild elephants in the future.
