Wild bear roams around in circles roadside in southern India
A wild bear was seen roaming around in circles by the side of a road after straying into the area in southern India’s Andhra Pradesh.
This happened in Loharibanda, Yashodanagar panchayat of Srikakulam district on July 21.
Visuals showed the omnivore going about in circles in an area by the side of the road where it was spotted. The bear’s strange behaviour did surprise a lot of people who had gathered at the site. It was learnt that the sight of this bear by the side of the road scared a biker, who left his vehicle and ran away from the spot. Later, the locals arrived at the spot and the wild animal was still seen behaving in this weird manner. The Palasa forest department officials including its DFO reached the spot and investigated the bear after its strange behaviour. Injuries were found on its muzzle.
As per a report, forest department officials said that the bear’s eyes weren’t visible and it could have acted the way it did either out of fear or due to being affected by a disease.
