Wild Bear mauls father son duo to death, severely injures Forest Guard

This incident took place in northern India’s Chhattisgarh, in Kanker district on January 18.
Visuals show a bear charging at a forest guard, attacking him as he lies on the ground. Onlookers shout at the bear, trying to scare it away from the guard. They are seen throwing a stick at the bear while it aggressively attacks the guard’s hand.
According to sources, A bear suddenly attacked a father and a son, in a forest where they were collecting woods. The father died on the spot when the son was severely injured. On receiving the information, the forest and police officials promptly reached the spot. The bear attacked an official while they were trying to remove the body.
The son died during the treatment and a forest guard suffered serious injuries to his hand. Forest personnels have been deployed in the area to keep an eye on the bear’s activities and villagers have been advised not to enter the forest.
