As he rose from his seat, bowed his head, and conveyed a Namaste to the honourable President of India, netizens turned their attention to the background. They noticed a four-legged creature casually strolling up the stairs. Speculations arose, with people guessing it to be a leopard or another wild animal spotted during the event.

Some people suspected that the footage had been edited, particularly focusing on the background. Nevertheless, similar scenes were captured during the live broadcast on Doordarshan, an Indian public broadcaster.
