Wedding breaks tradition with bulldozer-led procession in northern India

In an unusual incident in northern India’s Uttar Pradesh, a wedding procession was carried on a bulldozer.

The incident took place in Unwal village of Gorakhpur district on July 9.

Visuals showed an extraordinary scene where the groom, accompanied by the family’s children, rode on a bulldozer, while guests danced and celebrated the occasion.

According to reports, Krishna Verma’s wedding in Ward Number 10 of Khajni Nagar Panchayat, Unnao, featured a unique twist as he chose to ride a bulldozer with the Verma family’s children. Following the wedding, there were jokes from the groom’s in-laws in Khalilabad about their loss in Khalilabad Sant Kabir Nagar. Despite concerns of ridicule, Krishna opted for the bulldozer over a lavish car for the procession, affirming his pride in the CM of Uttar Pradesh and Unnao. The groom’s unconventional decision has sparked widespread discussion about this wedding procession.
