Waiter dragged and abducted over unpaid bill by three men in western India

In a horrifying incident in western India’s Maharashtra, three men assaulted and abducted a waiter after refusing to pay their food bill. The victim was dragged by their vehicle for a kilometer before being physically assaulted.

The incident took place on the Mehkar-Pandharpur highway in Dindrud, located in Beed district on September 7.

Visuals showed near a roadside eatery, when the waiter approached the customers sitting in their car to ask for payment after a heated argument, he ended up partially inside the vehicle, with half his body still outside. Suddenly, the driver sped off, dragging the helpless waiter along. A large crowd quickly gathered at the scene, witnessing the chaotic and alarming situation.

In a shocking case of violence over an unpaid food bill, three men allegedly attacked a waiter, Sheikh Sahil Anusuddin, at a roadside eatery in Beed district, Maharashtra.

The attackers, identified as Sakharam Janardan Munde and his two companions, had dined at the eatery and requested the QR code scanner for online payment. However, instead of paying, they attempted to flee. When the waiter approached them for the payment, the trio became aggressive, engaged in a verbal scuffle, and then physically assaulted him.

The men proceeded to drag the waiter by their car for about a kilometer before stopping to assault him further. The violent attack was captured on CCTV footage, which quickly went viral on social media.

Local police have launched an investigation, and the trio is reportedly being tracked. The incident has sparked outrage online, with netizens condemning the violent act.
