In a bizarre incident from central India’s Madhya Pradesh, a goat gave birth to a uniquely featured baby, shocking villagers.

The incident took place in Sukhapura village, Sirsaud, in Shivpuri district on September 14.

Visuals showed the goat’s baby with a strange appearance with fused eyes and an unusually large tongue that kept protruding from its mouth. Despite its odd features, the goat lovingly caressed the baby.

According to reports, Khairu Rajak, the owner of the goat, was astonished when his goat gave birth to two kids—one normal and the other with peculiar facial traits. The baby goat was placed near its mother, who began to nurture it despite its abnormal appearance. Hours after its birth, the unique baby was still alive.

Such cases have occurred before. Veterinary doctor Mukesh Gupta explained that there was no miracle behind the baby goat’s appearance; it resulted from genetic factors. He noted that such abnormalities can occur due to calcium deficiency or complications during reproduction.
