In a chaotic incident in central India’s Madhya Pradesh, a village head was confronted by his wife after being caught red-handed with his girlfriend outside a hotel.

The incident took place in Ujjain district, and the video went viral on November 14.

Visuals showed the village head sitting inside a car, covering his face with his hands, while his wife continuously screamed and slapped the girlfriend. Amidst the uproar, crowds gathered to witness the dramatic scene, leaving the village head and his companion shocked and distressed. The wife declared she would expose the affair at the police station when questioned by the other woman.

According to reports, the sarpanch, identified as Jitendra Mali, had traveled approximately 210 km from Neemuch to Ujjain to meet his girlfriend. Unbeknownst to him, his wife had been monitoring his actions closely after overhearing suspicious conversations on his phone. Upon discovering his whereabouts, she drove to the hotel and waited outside. As soon as he exited with his girlfriend and got into the car, she blocked their path and confronted them, escalating into a public altercation.

The wife, reportedly an Anganwadi worker, accused her husband of planning a third marriage and mistreating her. The sarpanch, previously married twice and a father of four, remained silent during the confrontation. Family members recorded the incident, which quickly went viral on social media.

Station Officer Narendra Yadav confirmed no formal complaint has been registered yet. However, authorities are prepared to take action if a complaint is filed.
