A venomous snake russell’s viper was found in central India’s Madhya Pradesh, causing panic among the local residents. The snake was safely rescued and released into the wild.
The incident took place at Damayanti Nagar, New Damoh, Damoh district on October 8.
Visuals showed outside a house, a large and thick venomous russell’s viper lay, drawing a crowd of alarmed neighbors. A snake expert carefully handled the situation, capturing the snake with precision. The area buzzed with tension as the crowd watched anxiously, while a few police officers stood by, ensuring safety. The scene reflected both fear and relief among the onlookers.
Residents were alarmed to spot a venomous snake in a house under the PM housing scheme. The presence of the snake created an atmosphere of fear, prompting locals to call a rescue team for help. The young rescuer successfully captured the snake, later identified as a russell’s viper with venomous features, and safely released it into the nearby forest. Local residents expressed relief after the rescue, though concerns about frequent wildlife encounters in the area remain high.
