A van loaded with prawns overturned in southern India’s Andhra Pradesh, prompting locals to rush to collect the fallen prawns.

The incident took place near Paadhagayya Kshetra in Pithapuram, which is located in the Kakinada District on October 21.

Visuals showed a truck carrying prawns had overturned, spilling its entire load onto the ground. The prawns were scattered everywhere, and a large crowd of locals had gathered at the scene. People were scrambling to pick up the prawns, creating a chaotic atmosphere. The scene was filled with a sense of urgency and excitement as the crowd grew larger, with many bending down to grab the prawns, while others watched the commotion unfold.

The accident led to a frenzy as locals swarmed the scene to gather the spilled prawns.

According to the police, the van was en route from Kakinada District to Orissa when the driver lost control, resulting in the mishap. No casualties have been reported, but the incident attracted a large crowd. The authorities are investigating the cause of the accident and managing the situation at the site.
