A vanity van in western India’s Maharashtra, caused multiple vehicle collisions due to brake failure.
The incident took place near Palace Orchard Society, NIBM-Undri Road, Kondhwa in Pune on May 21.
Visuals showed a busy road, where people were casually shopping and going about their business. A young man sat on a scooter near a shop, waiting for someone. Suddenly, from very close by, a vanity van emerged, speeding ahead and ramming into other vehicles. The man’s expression indicated a horrific accident had occurred. Witnessing the scene, everyone present quickly fled away from the accident site.
According to the police, the driver of the vanity car lost control of the wheel after the brakes failed and rammed into several vehicles. Police said that six vehicles were damaged in the accident. As per a report, two people were killed and five others were left injured in this accident. The police have begun further investigation into this incident.
