Update: Firefighters rescued 13 stranded pigs from 30 feet deep well

The incident occurred in Kavapattarai Village, Chinna Samuthiram Post, Tirupattur district, Tamil Nadu, in southern India, on January 11.
The visual shows rescuers lowering a net into the water to save the stranded wild pigs, while several team members and police officials stand around the pond, assisting with the operation. One by one, the pigs are pulled to safety and joyfully run away once freed. Rescuers are seen shouting and using tree branches to protect themselves from potential attacks by the distressed animals.
Speaking to Newslions, A. Lakshmanan, the Senior Leading Fireman of Tirupattur Fire Station, stated that the incident involved a well owned by Nandakumar. Under the leadership of Fire Officer K. Dasarathan, a total of 13 pigs were successfully rescued from a well that was 30 feet deep and contained 20 feet of water, with dimensions measuring 20 by 20 feet. The rescue team comprised K. Saravanan, T. Gokulraj, K. Vaikunthavasan, and A. Sreekanth, who worked together to save all the pigs.
