Late Sunday night, residents of Pune’s Hadapsar area witnessed a startling incident involving a Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) road maintenance vehicle. The event, which took place around 11:45 PM on the Vaiduwadi flyover, was captured on video and quickly went viral on social media platforms.
Fortunately, the late hour meant that traffic was light, preventing what could have been a catastrophic accident. The rogue vehicle eventually came to a stop after crashing into a road divider, avoiding any significant damage or injury.
Authorities are currently investigating the incident to determine the cause of the vehicle’s uncontrolled reverse movement. As of now, the exact reason behind the malfunction remains unknown.
