Unmanned earthmover loses control, hits parked vehicles
A road-cleaning vehicle lost control and rammed into several nearby vehicles.
The incident took place in Mallapur Gokulnagar, located in the Medchal-Malkajgiri district of Telangana, southern India, on December 6.
Visuals show a stationary earthmover suddenly losing control and moving across the road. It struck several parked vehicles and pushed the driver away, knocking him to the ground as he tried to stop it. Nearby people rushed to his rescue.
According to reports, the road-cleaning vehicle, operated by the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), had been stopped on the road by the driver, who had stepped out of the vehicle. During this time, the vehicle lost control, crossed the road, and rammed into parked bikes and a car.
The driver sustained serious injuries while attempting to stop the vehicle and was quickly rushed to the hospital for treatment. The incident resulted in slight damage to the parked bikes and car.
