Unidentified person abandons baby boy in hospital in southern India

In a tragic incident, an unidentified person has abandoned a baby boy in hospital in southern India’s Andhra Pradesh.
The incident took place in Anantapur city on August 22.
As per reports, the police have initiated an inquiry with the concerned department to find the parents of a baby boy who was abandoned by an unidentified person at Kundhurpi Government hospital. The baby was found inside a bag with a cloth covering its mouth. The doctors discovered him to be a week old. The Child Development Protection Officer (CDPO) shifted the baby to Anantapur Government hospital where he was admitted as he was suffering from Jaundice with 108 temperature.
The police have undertaken further investigation to find the parents of the baby.
