Two women caught dancing outside moving car on road in central India, police launch investigation
A viral video showing two women dancing outside the windows of a moving car on a Road in central India’s Madhya Pradesh has prompted the police to launch an investigation.
The incident took place on Airport Road in Bhopal on September 17.
Visuals showed two young women dangerously leaning out of a moving car and dancing to music on Bhopal’s Airport Road. The incident reportedly took place on Tuesday night, with the video capturing the women hanging out of the car windows while the vehicle was still in motion.
Eyewitnesses recorded the act, which involved the women dancing to music playing in the background. The video, divided into two clips—one lasting 22 seconds and the other 30 seconds—gained widespread attention after it was uploaded on social media on Wednesday. The footage shows the women joyfully dancing to the music, unaware of the risks involved.
Following the video’s release, the Gandhinagar Police launched an investigation into the matter. Station House Officer (SHO) S.K. Salakle confirmed that efforts are underway to identify the women based on the car’s license plate. “We are verifying the incident and will take appropriate legal action as per the law,” Salakle stated.
Local authorities are urging people not to engage in such risky behavior, highlighting the dangers of performing stunts on public roads. The investigation continues as the police work to locate and question those involved.
