A pair of monitor lizards caused a scare before being rescued from a brick pile on the roof of a house behind the MLA bungalow.
The incident took place in the Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh, central India on December 25.
Visuals show the snake catcher on the roof, while the bricks are seen scattered on the roof. The snake catcher with all safety and carefulness removed the bricks, locating the monitor lizards. The snake catcher then found the two massive monitor lizards and extracted them from the stack. The snake catcher was then seen showing the two creatures in his hands.
According to reports, behind MLA Shailendra’s bungalow, construction materials were stored on the roof of Mohit Soni’s house, where two cobras were found hiding between the bricks. Soni alerted snake catcher Bablu Pawar, who, along with his team member Naveen Pawar, arrived at the scene and successfully captured both snakes. Bablu Pawar said the cobras, about one and a half feet long, likely came to the roof to bask in the sun due to the cold. The snakes were safely released into the forest.
