Two lives lost after huge signboard near cricket stadium falls over moving car in northern India

In a shocking incident, a huge signboard fell on top of a moving car, which led to the death of a mother and a daughter, in northern India’s Uttar Pradesh.
This incident happened outside the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow on June 5.
Horrifying visuals showed one of the victims trapped underneath the wreckage caused by the accident. The victim is seen waving a hand for people to spot and rescue. The wreckage caused by this accident was huge with the shattered remains of the signboard spread across the whole area.
According to a report, the big signboard fell on top of the moving car and crushed it completely. The police arrived at the site and cleared the signboard with the help of a crane. Two women-a mother and a daughter and a man were rescued from underneath the rubble and taken to the hospital. The mother, a 38-year-old named Preeti Jaggi and her daughter, 15-year-old Kumari Angel were declared brought dead at Lohia Hospital. The third victim of this accident, driver Sartaj, is undergoing treatment. The signboard fell on the car as a result of a storm.
The Ekana Stadium in Lucknow hosted seven matches of IPL 2023.
