Twenty-six spotted deer were released into reserve forests in southern India

This incident took place on May 13.
Visuals showed the deers running towards the forest as soon as they were let go and some free deers playing around the cages where they were kept.
After spending several years at the VOC Park, these majestic deer are now thriving in their natural habitat, thanks to the diligent care provided by a team led by a qualified veterinarian.
The team ensures the deer’s well-being by supplying essential resources like salt licks, nutrient-rich fodder, and ample water in designated troughs. This comprehensive approach aids in the deer’s seamless transition to their wild environment.
The release of these spotted deer underscores India’s dedication to biodiversity conservation. As they roam freely amidst the lush greenery of the Bolampatty Reserve Forests, they contribute to the rich tapestry of wildlife in the region.
