According to reports, Bengaluru has been facing relentless rains for three days, causing severe waterlogging in many areas. In northern Bengaluru, Doddabommasandra Lake overflowed for the first time in 17 years, flooding nearby low-lying areas like Tata Nagar near Hebbal.
Residents were left stranded as knee-deep water surrounded homes, and rescue boats were deployed to deliver essential supplies. Revenue Minister Krishna Byre Gowda was on-site, overseeing relief efforts in the hardest-hit areas.
