The scene was surreal, with the man’s figure stretched out on the cold steel rails, the umbrella shielding him from the sun. The train’s loco pilot, sharp-eyed and alert, noticed the unusual sight from a distance. Acting swiftly, he brought the massive locomotive to a stop just in time. The man, startled awake by the pilot’s intervention, was quickly guided off the tracks, narrowly escaping what could have been a tragic accident.

The man, who appeared to be in his late middle age, was hurried away from the tracks by the pilot before the train resumed its journey towards Prayagraj. The entire episode was captured on video by an onlooker and has since gone viral on social media platforms.
Mauaima Railway Station Superintendent V.K. Chaurasia stated that no official report of the train being halted by a pilot had been received as of yet. The incident reportedly took place on Thursday afternoon, sparking widespread discussion online about the importance of vigilance and humanity in potentially life-threatening situations.
