Trailer truck rams into vehicles, leaves pedestrians injured in western India
In a tragic incident, a trailer truck was seen ramming into vehicles and pedestrians in western India’s Maharashtra.
The incident took place in Dhule district on July 4.
As per reports, a trailer truck was seen ramming into a four-wheeler, a container, and a couple of two-wheelers after a brake failure leading to a massive accident. The trailer truck was heading to Dhule district from Indore when it allegedly developed brake failure and the driver, Kanilal Banjara, lost control of the vehicle. The accident happened near Mumbai-Agra highway near Palasner village. The truck initially hit a pedestrian near Parmar hospital and then rammed into two two-wheelers and then a four-wheeler. The truck after losing control rammed into a container which hit a small eatery and then crashed into a bus stop. The trailer stopped only after it toppled. The police reached the spot and further investigation to find the cause of the accident is underway.
The accident caused nine casualties including the driver and cleaner of the trailer truck and around 26 injured people are receiving further treatment in the nearest hospital.
