Tragic! Youth falls into river after tractor trolley tips over in northern India
In a distressing incident in northern India’s Rajasthan, a young man fell into the Luni River after losing balance while crossing on a tractor trolley.
The incident took place in Alniyawas town of Nagaur district on August 26.
Video showed that the tractor trolley, overloaded with illegal gravel, struggled to navigate the river due to its heavy load and the fast-flowing water. The tractor became unstable in deep pits, and the driver, Mohansingh, attempted to maintain balance by sitting on the bonnet. Despite his efforts, the tractor tipped over, and Mohansingh fell into the water, where he was carried away by the strong current.
According to reports, Shiv Singh, the driver of the overloaded tractor trolley, was attempting to cross the Luni River en route to Ajmer when the incident occurred. Some local youths, including Sajan Nath and Dinesh Valmiki, threw a long tree root into the river, which they used to pull Mohansingh and the tractor trolley out of the water.
