Tragic! Two college buses collide in southern India, resulting in fatal injuries
In a tragic incident in southern India’s Telangana, two buses from an engineering college collided near a temple, leading to fatal injuries.
The incident took place in Medak district on September 27.
Visuals showed the wreckage of the two buses, with shattered windows and broken glass scattered across the road. Several students were severely harmed, many bleeding from injuries on their foreheads. The college staff, along with bystanders, were seen assisting the wounded, with some students being rushed to the hospital in ambulances.
According to reports, the crash happened around 9:00 AM as both buses were traveling at high speeds. One driver died at the scene, while the other suffered injuries. Ten students from B V Raju Institute of Technology sustained serious injuries and were taken to a local hospital with help from nearby residents. The college management stated that critically injured students would be transferred to Hyderabad for further treatment. Authorities from Narsapur police have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the collision.
