In a harrowing event in West Bengal, a political party volunteer was fatally shot by a mob.

The incident took place in Bhatpara district on August 28.

Visuals showed the concerning sight of two men firing at a car where the bullet can be seen piercing the car’s glass and hitting the man inside.

According to reports, seven rounds were fired, with allegations pointing to Trinamool Congress workers. A photograph of the shooters surfaced, showing them in action. The car’s driver was shot in the head, and a video showed a bullet grazing the driver’s ear.

BJP leader Arjun Singh has stated “Priyangu Pandey, our party leader, was attacked and shot at today. The driver was also shot. Seven rounds were fired in the presence of the ACP, and there was a plan to kill Priyangu Pandey. The TMC seems to be resorting to such violence due to a lack of issues. Two individuals were injured, one critically.”
