Tragic incident! Child struck by car while trying to chase kite
A painful accident unfolded in broad daylight when an innocent child was struck by a car while attempting to catch a drifting kite.
Visuals show a quiet street with minimal crowd as the child rushes to cross the road to grab a kite. In his haste, he failed to notice the moving vehicles and collided with a speeding car. The impact was so forceful that the child was thrown a considerable distance onto the road, while locals quickly rushed to help him.
According to reports, the child is receiving treatment at Jaipur’s SMS Hospital. SHO Rakesh Kumar stated that no report has been filed as of yet. The injured child, named Shivam Bakolia (7), is the son of Ghasi Ram, a resident of Ward No. 10. Action will be taken once the report is filed.
Shivam’s uncle, Shravan Kumar, explained that Shivam had gone to fly kites with his friends after school on 6 December. He ran to grab a kite that had landed 500 meters from their home. While running and looking upwards, he collided with a car. Upon receiving information from nearby residents, the family quickly took him to SK Hospital in Sikar, from where he was referred to SMS Hospital in Jaipur on 7 December. Shivam has suffered a serious head injury, causing difficulty in speaking. His uncle also mentioned that Shivam is a third-grade student with an elder and a younger brother. His father, Ghasi Ram, has been missing for nearly two years.
