A woman named Vaishali Shinde lost her life in a tragic hit-and-run incident in western  India’s  Maharashtra.

The incident took place in the Gangapura area of Nashik district on July 9.

Visuals showed Shinde standing on the side of the road when a speeding white car, driven by another woman, approached at high speed. Despite the efforts of two men nearby who tried to move her out of the car’s path, the vehicle struck Shinde and fled the scene. She was thrown 15-20 meters away by the impact. The men immediately rushed to her aid, and she was taken to the hospital but sadly succumbed to her injuries.

According to reports, the police have taken two individuals into custody regarding the incident.
