In a terrifying incident in northern India’s Uttarakhand, a gypsy was swept away by floodwaters
The incident took place in Ramnagar town of Nainital district.on September 13.
Visuals showed a fast-moving stream of water cutting across the road, posing a serious threat to those traveling. The gypsy, which had been parked at the roadside, was pulled into the current, forcing passengers to jump out to save their lives.According to reports, the tourists were traveling from Ramnagar market to a resort in Dhela when the gypsy was swept away at around 7:15 pm. Five tourists, including a woman, were rescued safely. Tehsildar Kuldeep Pandey confirmed their safety. Kotwal Arun Kumar Saini identified the tourists as Ishan Anand, Sanjay Anand, Uma Anand, and Sanjana Anand, residents of Rishi Nagar, Ranibagh, Delhi. Dhela Ranger Naveen Pandey attributed the incident to a mistake made by the gypsy driver.
