Tragedy unfolds in northern India as Diwali fireworks ignite blaze damaging 3 floors of residential building leaving pet dog injured
In a distressing Diwali incident in northern India’s Uttar Pradesh, a blaze engulfed three floors of a high-rise residential building, leading to the tragic death of a pet dog.
The incident took place in Echo Village 1 in Noida West area of Noida city in Gautam Budh Nagar district on October 31.
Visuals showed the fierce blaze lighting up the dark sky, with flames appearing life-threatening as they spread rapidly through multiple floors. Residents of the building looked on, shocked and fearful, as the fire raged dangerously close to their homes.
According to reports, the fire was sparked by firecrackers set off nearby during Diwali celebrations, which ignited portions of the building. The Noida Fire Department was dispatched to control the flames and mitigate further damage. Residents expressed sorrow for the injured dog and voiced concern over the hazards posed by firecrackers near residential complexes, particularly during festive events.
