Tragedy strikes in northern India after 2-year-old gets crushed under wheels of neighbor’s car

The incident took place in Barra 7 area of Kanpur city on September 10.
Visuals showed the toddler sitting on the road as a motorbike passed by. The child attempted to stand when a car driven by a neighbor approached her, but before she could move away, the vehicle struck her. The driver didn’t stop even after the collision, crushing the girl under the wheels and leaving her lifeless on the road.
According to reports, the family of the girl, who had been living in the area for over ten years, was inside the house when the tragedy unfolded. The road outside was soon stained with blood, as bystanders gathered and the police arrived to investigate the case.
The father of the girl, Rohit Singh, expressed his grief and anger, stating, “He hit my child with his car and drove away. He should have taken her for humanity’s sake.” The driver, who fled the scene, has not been apprehended as both he and the vehicle remain missing. Authorities have launched a search operation to locate the accused.
