Thieves sneak inside mobile shop, steal gadgets worth $7,071 in northern India
A bunch of thieves sneaked inside a mobile shop and stole gadgets worth Rs 5 lakhs (USD 7,071) in northern India’s Bihar.
The incident happened at Manoj mobile shop in Munger on June 5.
CCTV footage captured the whole incident where the thieves are seen taking out the mobiles and stacking them on a blanket placed on the counter. They had reportedly entered the store by opening the shutter.
All of them had clothes wrapped around their faces and necks. One of them took out the wrapped cloth after entering the shop, took out his phone, and switched on the flashlight.
Upon seeing the CCTV footage, he instantly re-draped himself and got on with the act.
Speaking to Newslions, Manoj Kumar, the shop owner, said that goods worth Rs. 5,50,000 have been robbed. He has registered a complaint at the Tarapur police station. The police are reportedly investigating the issue and are yet to identify the thieves.
