Terrifying! Armed goons wreak havoc at restaurant in western India
In a shocking incident in western India’s Maharashtra, armed goons stormed a restaurant, causing widespread damage and terrorizing customers and staff.
The incident took place at Yoga Bar Restaurant in Kadri area of Nagpur district on August 30.
Visuals showed the attackers wielding swords and sticks as they ransacked the establishment, threatening the bar owner and sending customers fleeing. The terrified patrons were seen running out of the restaurant as chaos unfolded inside.
According to reports, the bar owner, Deendayal Bawankule, filed a complaint with the Kanhan Police Station shortly after the attack. In a swift operation, the Kanhan police arrested the assailants within 12 hours at Kalmeshwar.
The suspects, identified as Shailesh Nagpure (21), Abdul Shah (33), Mayur Borkar (20), Swanil Tolamajre (23), and Abhishek Gongne (25), were involved in extorting money from Bawankule and causing damage worth ₹1.52 lakh. The operation was led by Nagpur Rural Superintendent of Police Harsh Poddar and Additional Superintendent of Police Ramesh Dhumal.
