Tent collapse leaves several injured during live performance in northern India

by ShravyaIn a chaotic incident in northern India’s Punjab, a tent collapse left several people injured during a live performance at the Kisan Mela.
The incident took place at the grain market in Malout town, Muktsar district on September 8.
Visuals showed a group of youngsters sitting atop the tent structure during the event. Within seconds, the tent collapsed, causing the youngsters to fall as onlookers ran for safety amidst the chaos.
According to reports, the tent at the Kisan Mela, organized by private companies, could not withstand the weight of the youngsters and came crashing down. Fortunately, no major injuries were reported, and the event came to an abrupt end. The two-day Kisan Mela concluded on Sunday night without further incidents.
