Tense encounter: bus stops in southern India’s forest as wild elephant crosses road

The incident took place in Munnar town in Idukki district and the video went viral on September 4.
According to reports, the bus had to halt, with passengers peeping nervously out of the windows, waiting for the massive animal to pass.
Visuals from the scene show the dense greenery of Munnar, with the elephant calmly walking past the bus, inches away from the vehicle. The passengers, though anxious, remained quiet, respecting the majestic creature’s presence.
