Student crushed under speeding car after being attacked and stripped in northern India
by Komal KashyapA 19-year-old student was kidnapped, stripped and then crushed by a speeding car in northern India’s Haryana.
The incident took place in the brass market of Rewari district, on April 25.
The footage of the incident shows the victim, Ankit being beaten with sticks by a group of individuals who have taken off his clothes. The accused surrounds Ankit in a circle and issues a no-approach warning. In the terrifying turn of events, Ankit is crushed by a fast automobile as it passes by. Ankit suffered terrible injuries after being viciously abused till he lost consciousness. The horrific event that was caught on tape shows how ruthlessly the defenceless Ankit was physically abused.
Ankit was abducted by unidentified persons while travelling to a computer coaching class in Rewari Brass Market. Ankit was beaten by the accused after he had been forced to drink alcohol against his choice. The incident shocked Ankit’s father, Vedavrat, a farmer by trade, who said his son had no known adversaries who would carry out such a horrible deed and attempt to take his life.
The police began looking for clues and opened an inquiry. At the Trauma Centre in Rewari, Ankit is fighting for his life at the moment.
