Stray bulls cause panic in northern India town, two girls narrowly escape injury
In a dramatic incident in northern India’s Uttarakhand, two stray bulls entered a shop while fighting, trapping two young women inside.
The incident took place near the Ram Jhula bridge in Muni Ki Reti, Rishikesh city on July 12.
Visuals showed two bulls entering a shop while fighting with each other. Due to this two girls working in the shop got stuck inside. The bulls kept fighting with each other, due to which both the girls got caught. During this, the bull crushed them. Meanwhile, during this time the shopkeeper somehow showed courage and climbed on the goods and beat the stray bulls with a stick and drove them out. After this, the girls buried under the ladies’ purses and bags got up and ran out of the shop.
The girls narrowly escaped serious injury, thanks to the ladies’ purses and bags that cushioned them as the bulls trampled through the shop.
The shopkeeper bravely intervened, using a stick to drive the bulls out, allowing the girls to escape with minor scratches. This incident has sparked anger among local residents, who criticize the municipality for failing to address the ongoing issue of stray animals on the streets. Executive Officer Tanveer Marwah of Muniki Reti Nagar Palika stated that efforts are being made to remove stray animals from the roads.
