In a bizarre accident in western India’s Maharashtra, an auto-rickshaw collided with a bike, followed by the auto moving on its own and hitting three more people.

The incident took place in front of Patki Hospital in Shahupuri area of Kolhapur on June 15.

Visuals showed the auto driver made an improper U-turn, colliding with a bike carrying three people, who were injured in the process. As the auto driver got out to check on the fallen individuals, the auto, still running, moved forward on its own and hit three more pedestrians.

A video of the incident has gone viral on social media, clearly showing the auto driver’s mistake and this video and the auto driver’s actions have become the talk of the town, highlighting the importance of traffic safety and the need for careful driving.
