Stone-throwing incident in northern India: woman injured over minor dispute

The incident took place in Pasiyapura area, Rampur district on June 11.
Visuals showed how the woman got severely hurt because of a stone hitting her and then falling on the hard concrete floor unconscious.
According to reports the injured woman was quickly admitted to the district hospital, where she is receiving medical treatment for her injuries. According to hospital sources, her condition is stable, but she remains under observation.
The Civil Line police station has launched an investigation into the incident, working to identify and apprehend the perpetrators. Early reports suggest that the altercation began over a minor dispute, escalating into a violent assault.
