Visuals showed the snake slowly crawling out from a wall-mounted fan, as onlookers watched in distress while recording the scene on their mobile phones. The unexpected appearance of the mildly venomous snake caused significant alarm.
According to reports, the Forsten’s cat snake was rescued from the fan by a team from the Resqink Association for Wildlife Welfare (RAWW), who received a distress call on Saturday. The residents of the apartment vacated the premises safely before the search operation commenced.
Following an hour-long search, the RAWW team, led by founder and president Pawan Sharma, managed to locate and skillfully rescue the snake with coordination from the forest department. The snake was later rehabilitated to its natural habitat.
